With offices across the country and a wide breadth of deposition related solutions, our client is in a position to provide any and all related services for your customers. The position carries a solid base salary an uncapped commission potential and a very solid benefits plan.

Our client’s Deposition Consultants are field based sales reps. You will be tasked with  growing existing relationships and securing new clients within a specific geography or a defined group of law firms/corporations in a team selling environment. It is anticipated that the candidate will ensure and grow this revenue stream via expert strategic deployment of resources and spearhead the penetration of market opportunities through deployment of solutions within an assigned territory. Successful candidates will possess an understanding of professional research processes and have the ability to quickly develop an in depth understanding of our products and solutions and how they apply to the prospective client’s needs.

The candidate will be expected to meet and exceed established individual and team performance metrics and objectives through strategic and consultative selling techniques. The candidate will be a member of an integrated team that includes but is not limited to sales leadership, client relationship managers and other team members focused on prospecting for new clients and requires travel.
Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for driving new revenue via client  relationship building and  new sales activities with 70% focus on existing accounts and 30% of time on new client development
  • Develops and grows client and prospective client relationships in support of team performance metrics.
  • Gains a deep understanding of full suite of client’s products and solutions and how they benefit and apply to the clients and prospect’s needs and success.
  • Assesses client/prospect needs and proposes the appropriate solution.
  • Interacts and maintains relationships within a team selling environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Winning track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team performance based metrics.
  • Business-to-business or business-to-professional experience is highly desired.
  • Knowledgeable of CRM software and Microsoft office suite of products.
  • Highly energetic, with a sense of urgency and adaptability
  • Legal industry experience preferred
Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the Court Reporting industry, including key decision makers in law firms and corporations. 
  • Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the litigation support industry, litigation support processes, litigation support solutions and systems, and industry trends.
  • Legal background experience. 
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com (CRM)
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Two -Three years of sales experience
  • Experience selling to the legal industry
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Experience working collaboratively in teams in a corporate setting highly desired.
  • Must possess solid business acumen, innovative thinking, while being proactive, and self-directed.
