Growing tier I and tier II automotive manufacturer is seeking a Manager of HR and Accounting to join their management team. As the Manager of HR and Accounting, you will report to the organization President and lead three areas of the plant, including HR and accounting.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Develop strategic plan of HR, Accounting and Sales
  • Partner with other managers to meet company goals and objectives
  • Increase the effectiveness and improve systems within HR, including recruiting, training, coaching, counseling, planning and developing of salary and hourly staff
  • Develop strategic plan and identify financial opportunities
  • Accomplish objectives and establish plans, budgets and results measurements
  • Improve the efficiencies of all departments managed
  • Maintain quality service to other business units of the plant
  • Develop relationships and foster partnerships with the surrounding community
  • Other duties as assigned
Candidates are required to have a background of HR and/or Accounting.  Qualified individuals will be strategic by nature and have excellent leadership skills.  This position will work heavily in team-oriented environments.  The company does offer EXCELLENT medical, dental and vision benefits.  Additional benefits include short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, 401K, bonus, paid holidays and vacation. 

REQUIREMENTS for the Manager of HR and Accounting:
1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
2. At least five years in a similar management position
3. A strategic background in HR and/or Accounting; ideally in both
4. Experience overseeing others and directing team initiatives
5. Experience working in manufacturing environments
6. Microsoft Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Experience overseeing multiple departments
2. Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
3. Related certifications in the HR and/or Accounting field
