The position of Business Office Manager is with a privately held, multi-faceted healthcare management company that specializes in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and rehab units. The nursing home has 140 licensed beds and does a significant volume of Medicaid.
The duties of this position include;
  • Directs processing of accounts receivable adjustments, private and third party agencies and census information
  • Manage collections of A/R
  • Organize, evaluate and monitor business office operations
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Bill and collect all monies owed
  • Manage resident trust funds and maintains confidential files
  • Supervise business office staff
Requirements of Business Office Manager;
  • REQUIRED: 3-5 years of previous experience in a business office manager position, LONG TERM CARE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
  • must possess a complete understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurance and managed care costing and analysis and all Ohio Dept. of Health regulations.
